Flowers That Attract Birds, Butterflies, Hummingbirds Black Eyed Susan The most well known are bright yellow daisy-like flowers with a tall, somewhat hairy stem. They are relatively tall, easy to grow and make excellent cut flowers. Butterfly Weed Best in well drained sand, clay or limestone.
